Archaeologists who were working on a excavation in Terracina (municipality in the Latin province of Italy), in an area that was devastated by a storm in October last year, they found the statue of a 2nd century Roman warrior.
The find occurred in an area where a Roman bath had already been identified It contained six other statues, including those of Jupiter and Diana.
Nicola Procaccini, Mayor of Terracina, explained that “These wonderful discoveries continue to surprise and excite us. We are living a golden moment, which also and above all from a cultural point of view, we want to continue, consolidate and improve”.
After studying History at the University and after many previous tests, Red Historia was born, a project that emerged as a means of dissemination where you can find the most important news of archeology, history and humanities, as well as articles of interest, curiosities and much more. In short, a meeting point for everyone where they can share information and continue learning.
